Our Center For Menopause provides comprehensive expert care for perimenopause, menopause and the years beyond…empowering women throughout this life transition.

Quite often, physicians don’t have time to talk in detail with patients regarding the many symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. And, it’s not a subspecialty that is included in medical school training for primary care physicians. Let’s face it – this is an area of medicine that has fallen through the cracks. Our team is here to dive into the details and have the uncomfortable and sometimes difficult discussions that women are often embarrassed to talk about. There should not be shame regarding this part of life! We’re all going to experience menopause in one way or another.

That’s why we created the Center for Menopause at Urology of Indiana. Our team has special expertise and training in the many facets of perimenopause, menopause and the years after that go well beyond urologic health.

Menopause is about much more than just hormones. Physiologic changes that accompany the perimenopausal and menopausal transition, as well as postmenopause, affect diverse organ systems throughout the body, extending through bladder function, sexual health, pelvic floor concerns and to overall general health and well-being. At Urology of Indiana, you will receive care from a provider dedicated specifically to perimenopause and menopause management, in an environment supported by seamless collaboration with specialists both within and beyond our walls to support every aspect of your health.

Our approach is rooted in evidence-based, guideline-supported testing and treatment, with a strong emphasis on holistic health and quality of life. With convenient on-site access to ancillary diagnostic and treatment services, as well as a network of collaborating providers, you can expect a comprehensive, coordinated experience designed to support your well-being throughout the menopause transition and beyond.

Urology of Indiana is your home for comprehensive menopause care.

  • It’s no secret that urology practices are uniquely positioned to address bladder symptoms, pelvic floor dysfunction, sexual health, pelvic floor concerns and GSM (Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause / ”vaginal atrophy”).
  • But perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause affect much more than urogenital health. Midlife brings many physiologic changes that impact sleep, mood, cognitive health, bone and metabolic health and overall well-being.
  • We address menopause as a whole-person transition rather than an isolated set of symptoms. Our care model integrates menopause-focused, whole-woman care geared toward not only symptom relief, but also restorative and preventive care individualized to meet your long-term health goals.

We welcome women experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause or menopause, as well as those desiring proactive, preventive wellness during their menopausal transition. We’ll have candid discussions, provide options, and give you straight answers.
