Dr. Peter M. Knapp is a board certified Urologist.

Clinical Interests  

Dr. Knapp has a special interest in female urology, urinary incontinence, and other bladder control problems in men, women and children.

He has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of voiding dysfunction, including urethral slings for treatment of incontinence in men and women, laser prostatectomy for BPH, the use of neuromodulation for overactive bladder and female pelvic reconstruction surgery for prolapse. Dr. Knapp has published and lectured on these topics regularly.

Professional Positions 

He is a Volunteer Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at Indiana University School of Medicine.

He is the immediate past President of the North Central Section of the American Urological Association, past President of the Large Urology Group Practice Association, and remains active in advancing health policy issues for both organizations.

Education

Dr. Knapp is a graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
