Dr. Michael C. Large was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He enjoys traveling, disc golf, playing jazz, attending sporting events (drove to all 30 baseball parks one summer), and spending time with friends and family here in Indy.
Education:
Dr. Large graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a B.A. in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, Magna cum Laude. He was named a John Harvard scholar three times. He then earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana on academic scholarship where he met his wife, Emily, a pediatrician.
He completed his internship in general surgery, residency in urology and fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois while graduating with a certificate in outcomes research.
